Accounting in the History of Science, Technology and Human Civilization

Wuhan, China, 24-27 June 2024

The 16th World Congress of Accounting Historians is scheduled to be held in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, from June 25th to June 27th, 2024. Hosted by Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and co-organized by Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, the 16th WCAH is approved by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China and strongly supported by the Accounting History Professional Committee of the Chinese Accounting Society.

Themed "Accounting in the History of Science, Technology and Human Civilization", the conference aims to provide a high-quality international academic exchange platform for experts and scholars from all over the world to present and discuss research on all topics, methodologies and theoretical perspectives in the field of accounting history.

Accounting for arts, culture and heritage in historical perspectives

Siena, Italy, 4-6 September 2024

While papers will be accepted across the full range of accounting history topics and methodological and theoretical perspectives, authors are encouraged to address topics relevant to the conference theme: “Accounting for arts, culture and heritage in historical perspectives”.

Submission and review of papers: Papers written in the English language and complying with the Accounting History article style guidelines should be submitted online in Word format no later than 31 March 2024
